1. Color TV Game dedicated console
This series were five different dedicated consoles, each designed to play a specific game or set of games. To the early Pong home console, they were very similar. Also known as Super Nintendo, SNES or Super NES, is a 16-bit nintendo console released by Nintendo in Asia, Brazil, North America, Australia and Europe. It is also known as the Super Famicom or Super Family Computer. The SNES was second home Nintendo console, following the NES. The SNES proved to be a global success, albeit one that could not match its predecessor?s popularity in North America and Northeast Asia, due in part to increased competition from Sega?s Mega Drive console. 3. Nintendo 64
Commonly called the N64, and code named Ultra 64, it was third home Nintendo consoles for the international market. It was released with three launch games, Pilotwings 64, Super Mario 64, and Saikyo Habu Shogi. The Nintendo 64 sold 32.93 million systems.

4. Nintendo GameCube
This was sixth generation Nintendo Game Consoles, the same generation as Sony’s PlayStation 2, Sega’s Dreamcast and Microsoft’s Xbox. The GameCube itself is least expensive and the most compact sixth generation Nintendo consoles. The GameCube is the first game Nintendo Consoles to use optical discs rather than game cartridges. The Nintendo GameCube has sold 21.74 million units as of June 30 2008.

5. Nintendo DS
The Nintendo DS is a handheld game nintendo consoles, released in 2004. By its horizontal clamshell design and the presence of two displays, it is visibly distinguishable, the lower of which acts as a touchscreen. The system also supports wireless IEEE 802.11 Wi-Fi standards and has a built-in microphone, allowing players to interact with each other within short range (10?30 meters) or over the Nintendo Wi-Fi Connection service via a standard Wi-Fi access point.
The letters “DS” in the name stand for “Dual Screen” and “Developers’ System”, designed to encourage innovative gameplay ideas among developers. Nintendo released the Nintendo DS Lite, On March 2 2006, a redesigned model of the Nintendo DS, in Japan. Nintendo DS Consoles have sold over 77.5 million units, including over 58.7 million Nintendo Lite console.

6. Nintendo Wii
The Wii is seventh-generation of Nintendo Consoles. The major feature of the Wii Nintendo console is the console’s wireless controller and Wii Remote, that may be used as a handheld pointing device and can detect motion and rotation in three dimensions. The controller contains a rumble device and a speaker to provide sensory feedback, and can be used to turn the console on and off.
The Nintendo Wii console is bundled with a game, Wii Sports. In Japan, Wii Sports is a standalone title, not included with the console. As of June 30 2008, the Wii Nintendo Consoles has sold 29.62 million units worldwide.
