1. Suikoden II – $250

Critically rated and acclaimed as one of the best RPG’s on the system. When initially released, Suikoden 2 sold poorly though there are not many copies available relative to the demand. The low supply and high demand make Suikoden 2 become the most expensive game on the PS1.

2. Tactics Ogre – $150

Released originally in Japan on the Super Famicom, according to RPGamer, Tactics Ogre is considered a “masterpiece”. The few that were made are now in high demand and the publisher Atlus never printed many copies.

3. Valkyrie Profile – $130

Valkyrie Profile, an action RPG, is a hard to find on the Playstation 1 Game. It has been increase the resale prices and rereleased on the PSP which helped spark interest in the original game.

4. Revelations Persona – $90

Like following in the RPG world, Persona has a cult. Even it does not have a huge fan base, those fans are pay top dollar and diehards for original copies. Since been reprinted by Atlus which has lowered the resale prices recently, the game is still one of the most expensive Playstation 1 Games.

5. Final Fantasy VII – $80

The most popular and best selling game on the Playstation, Final Fantasy VII even is not rare at all but very expensive still. The game sold 9.8 million copies. However, due to overwhelming demand the game still sells for around $80. The black label version sells for even more.

6. Dance Dance Revolution Disney Mix – $80

Disney and Konami teamed up to release a DDR game featuring Disney characters and songs. Dance Dance Revolution fanatics and Disney collectible fans both help boost the price for this game.

7. Lunar Silver Star Story – $65

The game featured voice acting, video cutscenes when these were both rare in video games. The Lunar Silver Star Story game is seen as a transition point for the RPG genre. RPG fans love this game because it is historic and fun, even the game was not produced in large quantities.

8. Intelligent Qube – $60

IQ is very rare. It is a puzzle game and one of the harder to find PS1 games, even not as popular as some of the titles appearing earlier in this list. So many owners of the game won’t sell it just because the puzzles in the game are addicting.

9. Team Buddies – $60

Team Buddies is a mix of shooter, RPG, and party game all wrapped into one. This is the hardest title to find on this list. The game is near impossible to spot in the wild but can be found online.

10. Ogre Battle Limited Edition $55

This is a rerelease of the Super Nintendo Ogre Battle game. The Playstation 1 Game originally came with a memory card and map so copies with both these items sell for a premium. Atlus never did a second printing and the game was only produced in limited quantities.
